The Book of Judges is one of the liveliest, most colorful books of the Bible. In a violent age disturbingly similar to our own, the Israelites often rebelled against their Divine King. Mercifully, God kept sending them rescuers such as Ehud, Barak, Gideon, and Samson.
Their struggles of faith and action, often partly told but seldom fully explored as in this series, show what God did and still can do with real people faced with difficult choices, in spite of all their weaknesses.
